Supporting Biodiversity Through Stewardship
As part of our ongoing environmental stewardship programme, Playsafe has recently completed the re-seeding of one of our fields using a carefully selected mixture of specialist plants.
The seed mix includes Vitaro, Canary Seed, Red Millet, White Millet, Pinfold, Buckwheat, Empress and Factotum. Each species has been chosen to help create a diverse habitat that provides food and shelter for farmland birds, pollinators and other beneficial wildlife.
Environmental stewardship is an important part of responsible land management. By encouraging biodiversity and improving habitat quality, these initiatives help support local ecosystems while contributing to healthier soils and a more sustainable environment.
